It might soon be easier to get a Big Mac and a Shamrock Shake.

McDonald's will begin testing mobile order and pay systems at a few restaurants to make the ordering process less "stressful".  I don't know about you, but I have visited many McDonald's in my 30 years on this earth, and I have never felt stressed while ordering a McDouble, medium fry, and of course, a large Coke. The one thing that is always consistent in an ever-changing life are the McDonald's classics.

With the new mobile order and pay system, and the kiosks in some restaurants, McDonald's is hoping to speed up the ordering process, and help with order accuracy. The kiosks I have seen let you order with pictures and remove or add items. It didn't seem as quick to me as ordering at the counter with a person assisting me, but I admittedly get very impatient when hungry.

If the feedback from the test locations is positive, McDonald's is hoping to roll out the new options nation-wide by the end of the year.
