Man Dies At Cedar Point After Being Hit By Roller Coaster

The victim entered a restricted, fenced in zone where he was struck by The Raptor roller coaster and died.

The roller coaster known as "The Raptor" at Ohio's Cedar Point amusement park struck and killed a 40 year-old patron just after 5pm on Thursday. According to reports the victim was struck after entering the fenced in area to retrieve his belongings.

According to the park spokesman, Bryan Edwards "Park safety officials responded immediately to the situation, unfortunately, the guest has passed away."
