Man Charged for Allegedly Setting Multiple Fires in Flint

A man has been charged for for his alleged role in an arson case. Robert Lucas Williams, 21, was arraigned on Monday on charges of Fourth Degree Arson and several other felony charges of arson.

According to the Michigan State Police, Williams was charged for an incident that occurred on August 7th in the 700 block of West University Avenue in the City of Flint. Authorities say Williams is also a suspect in several other suspicious fires throughout the city.

Arrest warrants are pending for two other suspects wanted in connection with the fires and the Michigan State Police say this is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information regarding any arson can call the Arson Tip Line at (800) 44-ARSON.
