The City of Flint Police Department announced Monday that they had arrested a man for allegedly Impersonating a Federal Officer.

According to a news release, three separate incidents had been reported in which the suspect approached vehicles and identified himself as a law enforcement officer. There were no injuries to any of the victims, however, when the suspect and his vehicle were located by Flint police, the suspect assaulted the two officers. Both sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect - who's name is being withheld pending charges by the Prosecutor's office - is described as a 34-year-old white male, 5'11" and 210 pounds. The individual is also described as having a bald head and his vehicle is a 2002 gold or tan colored, four door Buick.

The Flint Police Department asks that if anyone has any information regarding this suspect or believes they were encountered or approached by him, to contact Sergeant Burnett of the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (810) 237-6946.
