It's happening, people! Louis C.K. (comedy's It boy) is hosting 'Saturday Night Live' this coming October 27th. Or is it November 3rd?

With his hit FX series 'Louie,' a successful and constant touring schedule, and an ever-churning wheel of new creative material (and let's tack on that he's a single father of two daughters), C.K. is easily one of the most hard-working comedians around today. Now Louie will be getting another handful on his plate this week as the legendary NBC program's host.

It won't be the first time he's worked at 'SNL.' In the past, he's contributed to Robert Smigel's animated 'Saturday TV Funhouse,' which produced gems such as 'The Ambiguously Gay Duo.'

However, hosting the entire show is still a rare honor, and an acknowledgment of the great year the comedian's already had. 'Louie' recently won numerous Comedy Awards, even snagging two well-deserved Emmy's for 'Writing For A Comedy Series' and 'Writing For A Variety Special.'

Oh, and the musical guest will be Fun., which is great news (although let's face it, we'd watch even if they picked someone utterly lame).

Anyway, the show's website is advertising the date as October 27th, but the promo image during the show (below) tells a different story? Guess we'll have to tune in two weeks in a row unless they get their story straight.
