Local Officials to Host Town Hall on Weather Emergencies

Genesee County Commissioner Brenda Clack and state Senator Jim Ananich are hosting a town hall dealing with weather emergencies. In response to the recent extreme temperatures and snowfall, the pair, along with other local officials will discuss how the community can work together to better address them in the future.

Others on the panel include: Genesee County Under Sheriff Chris Swanson, Kevin Keane from Consumers Energy, Tony Lasher from the Red Cross, Kathy Boles from the Valley Area Agency on Aging and Howard Croft from the City of Flint.

The town hall is taking place on Thursday, January 30 from 6:15 to 8 p.m. at the Willard P. Harris Auditorium on the 3rd floor of the Genesee County Administration Building located at 1101 Beach St. in Flint.
