Jason Cooper, WFNT

A new list has Michigan ranked fourth for Best Beers in America. MLive says the list was put together by website Thrillist.com and “mittens were meant for holding cold brews!” Along with the above comment, the article’s authors also said “Michigan happens to host some of the best damned breweries in the country.” Among the highlights were Bell’s Oberon and Two Hearted Ale. Founders brewery in Grand Rapids and Short’s Brewery in Bellaire were also acknowledged. Michigan ranked behind Oregon which was number one, followed by California and Colorado.
