Legendary women's basketball coach Pat Summitt has died at 64.

Summitt, who coached for 38 years at Tennessee, was the winningest coach in Division I basketball. She led the Lady Vols to eight national championships.

According to ABC 12, her death was confirmed by her son Tyler who said Summitt died peacefully surrounded by those who lover her most.

Since 2011, Summitt had battled early onset dementia, Alzheimer's Type.
