League of Women Voters to Celebrate 94 Years of Education, Advocacy

League of Women Voters of the Flint Area

The League of Women Voters will celebrate its 94th birthday this year, and to mark the occasion, the League of Women Voters of the Flint Area (LWVFA) will honor the special occasion by hosting a Chocolate Extravaganza.

During the celebration, the LWVFA will be recognizing one of its members, Edith Prunty-Spencer, for 60 years of membership and leadership. There will also be door prizes, silent auction, refreshments and Hors d’oeuvres.

 

 

The celebration is being held on Friday, February 14th from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Doris Slain Community House at 727 East Street in Flint. The event is free, but RSVP is requested and can be made online at www.lwvflintarea.org.
