Kmart Closing Two Stores Here In Mid-Michigan [VIDEO]

Not something anybody likes to see...but Kmart has announced it will be closing some stores in our community that just aren't performing.

That means the Lapeer Kmart will close its doors at the end of July, after 38 years in business. The store on South Saginaw in Grand Blanc is also closing. Still no word on how many employees are impacted by the closings.

Kmart has said the reason for the closings...because the stores are under performing. I personally hate to see Kmart go...a slice of American retail history going away.
