Janelle Monae, Hannibal Buress, Jesse Williams, and major Hollywood directors will are putting on the #JusticeForFlint event, Oscar Sunday at The Whiting in Flint.

The crazy part is, that this event is FREE for the public!

'Creed' director, Ryan Coogler and 'Selma' director, Ava DuVernay are behind the Justice For Flint initiative.  Blackout for Human Rights, an activist collective founded by Coogler which is devoted to addressing human rights violations in the U.S.

The event will be hosted by comedian, Hannibal Buress, at The Whiting in Flint.  The event starts at 5:30pm, but you should plan on being there early Sunday evening, because there is no charge for admission.

Coogler told Buzzfeed about the event, saying

We will give a voice to the members of the community who were the victims of the choices of people in power who are paid to protect them, as well as provide them with a night of entertainment, unity, and emotional healing

If you can't find your way into The Whiting on Sunday, the entire event will be streamed live on Revolt TV.  People will be encouraged to donate via text and online giving during the event.
