Whatever you do, never speak on behalf of Jennifer Lawrence. Seriously, don’t do it. Girl’s got a shotgun.

In the latest trailer for David O. Russell’s Joy, we get a longer look at the Lawrence-led family drama, and a really great line courtesy of Robert De Niro. In the two-and-a-half minute trailer, Lawrence’s titular character endures her father’s (De Niro) disapproval on her wedding day, gets married, takes over the family business, chops her hair off, looks like a boss walking down the street in the snow, refuses to pay a guy more money and loads a shotgun. What’s that sound you hear? The sound of Lawrence winning another Oscar? Probably. But it’s also the Bee Gees.

Russell told Entertainment Weekly that music is of vital importance in his films, especially using the Bee Gees’ “To Love Somebody” in this latest trailer. “The Bee Gees are operatic and fun and poppy but also serious,” he said. “They’re not cynical. It takes great courage to be sincere and put your heart out there. That’s what I love about them.”

The filmmaker also shared a little bit more about Joy and what we can expect to see. The film will tell the story of Joy from age 10 to 40 as she becomes the head of her family. He told EW:

It’s about emotion and about people and humanity and what is ridiculous and ordinary about them but where that becomes extraordinary and magical. That’s that place where we live.

Joy also stars Bradley Cooper, Isabella Rossellini, Edgar Ramirez, Diane Ladd and Virginia Madsen. It opens Christmas Day.
