Ian Kinsler Wins His First Gold Glove

Ian Kinsler won his first career gold glove yesterday, and was the only Tiger winner despite Detroit having four players nominated for Gold Gloves.

Justin Verlander, James McCann, and Jose Iglesias were the other three Tigers nominated to win Gold Gloves.

The Tigers honored Kinsler on social media shortly after the announcement was made.

There are plenty of Tigers players that are still up for major MLB awards.

Justin Verlander is vying to win another Cy Young Award, and Michael Fulmer is hoping to be awarded the AL Rookie of the year.
