The scene was chaos in Detroit on Wednesday night as a series of manhole explosions caused the evacuation of Greektown Casino.

The explosions happened at around 10pm on Wednesday night and with the terror alert that everyone is on right now, everyone assumed something really bad was going on.  Greektown was evacuated, along with many restaurants being filled with smoke after the explosions.

The good news is that the explosions were not part of any sort of terror attack.  According to DTE, there was a failed underground power line that lead to a transformer exploding.  More good news is that there were no reported injuries reported due to the explosions.

DTE is working to repair any damage that was done to the power lines below the street, and businesses are open as normal today.
