Google has stepped in to help Flint deal with the water crisis, by committing $250,000 toward research and aid to Flint residents.

The money will be divided two ways to help with the Flint Water Crisis.

$150,000  of the money will come as a grant that will help researchers from the University of Michigan predict which homes are likely to have water with high lead levels without physically testing it.

The other $100,000 will be a grant to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.  The foundation hasn't decided exactly what it will do with the money as of yet.  They work by giving grants to smaller non-profits in the area.

This adds to a large amount of money that has been committed to Flint, but some residents are wondering when all of the committed money will be put to use.
