GM is recalling 117,000 cars and trucks for a possible chassis issue which could lead to a crash. GM says it has to replace contaminated chassis control modules. The problem could cause an electric short which could then lead to a engine stall, an engine that fails to start or the loss of a trailer break in certain vehicles. According to ABC 12, the recall prompted a stop-delivery for dealerships. GM has also notified federal regulators. The recall is the automakers 69th this year.
