Genesys Chosen One of Nation’s Top Hospitals for 12th Consecutive Year

Consumers have chosen Genesys as one of the nation's top hospitals for the 12th consecutive year. Consumers chose Genesys for overall quality, best doctors, best nurses, and best image and reputation.

National Research Corporation (NRC), the leader in health care performance measurement and improvement, announced the country's annual Consumer Choice Award winners.

Only 277 health systems in the U.S. were chosen for this award. In Michigan, a total of 14 were named. Genesys was the only hospital in Genesee County to receive the award.

Susan Henricks, president and CEO at NRC, said the award "provides a benchmark for consumers to show how important quality health care is to them and their families." She added "this award recognizes those facilities that are meeting or exceeding the needs of consumers - their patients."
