The Genesee County Board of Commissioners has announced they are seeking four individuals to serve on the Senior Citizens Services Advisory Committee.

Chairperson Jaime Curtis said the Board will take up the issue of filling the vacancies at its regular meeting on September 11, 2013.

Those interested will be asked to state their age, whether they have significant experience in direct delivery of services to seniors and in dealings with budgets and financial statements of private, non-profit organizations.

Applicants must also be a resident of Genesee County, a citizen of the United States, and must not have been convicted of a crime involving deceit, fraud or dishonesty.

If interested in serving, applicants must submit a letter of interest and resume by 5 p.m. on Friday, August 9th to Jon Care, Board & Criminal Justice Coordinator, Genesee County Board of Commissioners, 1101 Beach Street, Room 312, Flint 48502.
