The Genesee County Health Department (GCHD) and the Smoke-free, Multi-Agency, Resource Team (SMART) will provide two opportunities to attend a quit smoking class in May at the Burton Health Center.

Sheryl Deutsch, MPH, will get participants started on their journey to smoke free living. During the class, attendees will create a quit plan, gain a better understanding of nicotine addiction, receive a list of resources, and learn strategies to avoid relapse.

The free classes will be held on May 3 and May 10, 2012 from 5:45 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Burton Health Center. The Burton Health Center is located at 3373 S. Saginaw Street in Burton.
