The Genesee County Health Department (GCHD) is reminding residents to protect themselves during flu season.

The GCHD says it’s not too late to get vaccinated against the flu and the flu vaccine is widely available in Genesee County.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone six months or older get vaccinated against the flu each year.

More information from the GCHD can be found here: Flu Season 12-17-12.
