Gas Prices Continue Roller Coaster Ride

State motorists will pay 9.6 cents less for gas this week, according to AAA Michigan. The current statewide average is just under $3.43 per gallon, 28.3 cents more then last year.

The Lansing area has edged out Flint for lowest average cost in the state. Motorists there will pay around $3.30 a gallon while in Flint the cost is just over $3.34. Prices in Flint have dropped 17 cents from last week, but are still much higher then last year's price of $3.10 a gallon.
