You can get your coffee fix today and help raise funds to rename a portion of M-71 between Owossso and Corunna.

PFC Shane Cantu was a Corunna High School graduate who was killed in Afaghanastan in 2012. This past week the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee approved a bill to rename a portion of M-71 between Corunna and Owosso after the fallen soldier.

Foster Coffee Company in Owosso is helping raise the funds required to rename the road by opening today (Memorial Day) and donating 10% of their sales for the day. They are open until 2pm. Their goal is $600, but anything raised over that amount will go into a scholarship fund in Shane's honor.
