Uncle Joey is going to have a street named after him here in Michigan. Dave Coulier, the 'Full House' Actor who grew up in St. Clair Shores, will be honored with street signs depicting his name on the street where he was raised.

Lange Street will become 'Dave Coulier Wayi' and the actor will be honored at a public ceremony this weekend. Ironically, Coulier has recently moved back to the area.

Here Are a Few of Dave Coulier's Favorite Things to Do in Michigan

The Full House actor tells Mlive that he's honored by the gesture.

“I’m very honored and flattered,” Coulier said. “I was a little kid riding my bike up and down Lange Street and I dreamed like every other kid about being a hockey player or doing something great with my life. Hockey was the first dream that I had.”

Honorary Name Change

Of course, the name change to the street is honorary so residents won't have to legally change their addresses.

Coulier says he hopes the city's move will inspire other kids to follow their dreams.

“I’ve always been a dreamer and I know there are other kids out there who are dreamers," he tells Mlive. "If I can inspire just one kid riding by on their bike who’s dreaming, thinking that if that kid can do it from this humble little street in St. Clair Shores, maybe I can, too.”

In addition to playing Uncle Joey on Full House, Coulier has been a stand-up comedian, impressionist, TV host, and private pilot. He's also voiced Peter Venkman on The Real Ghostbusters, the cartoon adaptation of Ghostbusters, and the infant incarnations of Animal and Bunsen on Muppet Babies.

Coulier also founded his own children's entertainment company, F3 Entertainment, in 2000. In 2003, Coulier appeared on season three of The Surreal Life. In 2006, he appeared on the TV reality show Skating with Celebrities on FOX, where he was paired with Olympic medalist Nancy Kerrigan. They were eliminated in episode four.

He's also reprised his role as Uncle Joey in the Netflix series 'Fuller House.'
