Freezing Temps Expected for Genesee County Tonight

Be prepared! Freezing temps are expected in Genesee County tonight!

According to the National Weather Service, the wind chill will be -18 and temps are expected to be below freezing at -1. An inch of snow is also expected throughout the day.

Things this weekend aren’t expected to be any warmer with temps on Sunday night being described by the NWS as “dangerously cold.” The temps aren’t expected to be any better next week either with highs on Monday and Tuesday not expected to get out of the singe digits.

So be prepared and be safe out there! Here are some tips from the NWS on preparation for the extreme cold for before, during and after.
