Free Tire Drop Off to be Held in Flint this Weekend

The City of Flint in conjunction with Republic Services and Environment Rubber will be holding a tire collection on Saturday, November 9th from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The collection will take place at Environmental Rubber located at 6515 N. Dort Highway.

Tires will be collected at no charge to residents in the City of Flint. Photo ID showing proof of residency is required for those wishing to bring tires for collection; tires will not be collected from non-Flint residents.

No money will be exchanged at this event. Previously the city had offered $25 for 25 used tires in a May drop-off. Anyone with questions can call (800) 438-0966.
