The Genesee County Health Department (GCHD) and the Smoke-free Multi-Agency Resource Team (SMART) will provide a quit smoking class at the Burton Health Clinic.

Sheryl Deutsch, MPH, will help get participants started on their journey to smoke-free living. During the class attendees will create a quit plan, gain a better understanding of nicotine addiction, receive a list of resources and learn strategies to avoid relapse.

The free class will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the Burton Health Center located at 3373 S. Saginaw Street in Burton. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to Ann Goldon at agoldon@gchd.us or call (810) 341-5898.
