Flint's Bishop International Airport is known for being "the smart way to fly." Well now it may also be known as an easier way to fly!

The Transportation Security Administration has selected Bishop for its pre-check program. According to ABC 12 the program has been around since 2011 at major airports and is now expanding to medium-size airports. Passengers who have been pre-screened (for more on how to apply click here) will be able to go through special security lines and keep their shoes, jackets and belts on speeding up the process.

Bishop is now the third airport in the state to be part of the TSA pre-check program. Passengers flying American Airlines, Delta, Southwest and United can be eligible. Each week, more than 5 million passengers use the program at other airports.
