Beginning this week, the City of Flint will mail out the latest water quality results to customers. According to a news release from the city, a will notify residents that the city is still in violation of the Safe Water Drinking Act. In November, the city had mailed out a similar letter to customers saying tests revealed potentially unsafe levels of the disinfectant byproduct TTHM. However, city Spokesperson Jason Lorenz says current TTHM levels are "significantly below the maximum acceptable levels at all eight testing sites in Flint" and Flint Water "meets all Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Standards for Safety."

Progress on water system improvements will continue to be posted to the City of Flint's website here.
