Flint Police Looking to Hire More Officers

On Monday, the City of Flint announced it is still looking to hire more police officers.

According to MLive, city officials announced that seven new police officers have started working the streets. The officers were hired in as part of the five-year public safety millage passed by voters in November.

Ten officers were initially planned to be hired, but only eight qualified candidates were found and one of those decided to go elsewhere.
