The Flint Police Department Police has updated its roster of Mini-Stations located throughout the city. The Mini-Stations are located within the four newly implemented police patrol districts in the North, South, East and West sides of the City with one additional Mini-Station at Hurley Hospital. Those Mini-Stations are at the following locations:

  • Northside Mini-Station —4535 Martin Luther King Aye
  • Hurley Mini-Station — One Hurley Plaza (Patrick St. Side)
  • Ballenger Highway Mini-Station — 1210 North Ballenger Hwy
  • Kearsley Park-MCC Mini-Station — 1909 Kearsley Park Blvd
  • Southside Mini-Station — 933 Victoria Aye

The hours of operation for the mini-stations are: 10:00am-6:00pm (10:00am-5:00pm for Kearsley Park-MCC location).

The Mini-Stations will continue to be staffed by Blue Badge volunteers and each is overseen by a Flint police officer. Additionally, the Blue Badge volunteers are trained in using the Online Citizens Police Reporting system COPLOGIC and can help residents submit a report.

Since residents need an email account to submit a COPLOGIC report, those without accounts will be helped to create one for free by our volunteers. If a resident prefers to be contacted by telephone, they can indicate this preference in their initial report.

Blue Badge volunteers assist in community policing as well as various community activities and training programs. The volunteers at the Mini-Stations serve residents seeking crime prevention information and assist Flint Police in areas such as traffic control, administrative duties, dignitary details and community relations functions.

Anyone interested in becoming a Blue Badge volunteer can call their local Mini-Station or contact Officer Tanya Meeks by phone at (810) 237-6926 or email at tmeeks@cityofflint.com.
