The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce's YouthQuest program has received a $4,000 grant to support youth literacy. The grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation will go toward the purchase of the Discussions4Learning curriculum which will help improve reading and vocabulary skills for students in the YouthQuest program.

Rhetta Hunyady, Vice President of Education and Training at the Flint & Genesee Chamber, said "literacy skillsare the vital foundation of a student's overall education. this grant will help purchase curriculum tools to help ensure we give out YouthQuest students the support they need in developing those crucial skills."
