The Flint and Genesee Chamber of Commerce has announced they are looking to hire 50-plus staff for its YouthQuest after-school program.

The jobs will be up for grabs during an invitation only job fair on Friday, February 13th. To be eligible for the job fair, interested applicants must submit a resume for review by Monday, February 9. The YouthQuest office will invite all pre-qualified candidates for a brief information session and to schedule an interview time.

YouthQuest is a comprehensive, free after-school program that serves more that 2,000 K-12 students in 18 schools in Flint and Genesee County. Rhetta Hunyady, Vice President of Education for the Chamber says they have "immediate openings for all positions" and "if you are passionate about working with students in a fun and innovative environment, we want to hear from you." Ideal candidates will have experience in direct work with youth and families, experience with Microsoft Office, excellent time management and classroom management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities along with being detail oriented with a string work ethic.

Those interested in a YouthQuest job can apply here or by emailing their resume to wtwitty@flintandgenesee.org. Resumes can also be turned in personally at the Flint & Genesee Chamber's office located at 519 S. Saginaw Street, Suite 200 in downtown Flint.
