The winter is here and we are feeling the cold temperatures, snow and ice, espacially on your morning and afternoon commutes. So to help you out on your commute this winter you can track where MDOT's plows/trucks are so you can get to work quicker and easier.

According to MLive.com, you can go to MDOT's webpage and track state owned snow plows, plus now you can see what the snowplows are seeing on the road. It might be worth a look if you're planning a trip into an area where they've seen a lot of snow, so you can actually see the road conditions for yourself on smaller roads. Along with looking for plows you can also track accidents and traffic jams on the MDOT page as well.

Or another thing you can do is just sit at home at watch the plows all day and take a trip around Michigan.
