The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce has launched 'Explore Flint' making finding your way to attractions and resources in downtown Flint easier. The new Flint Genesee Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau (Regional Chamber CVB) website, which has already gone live, offers visitors a unique way to find downtown businesses through an interactive map.

According to Tim Herman, CEO of the Regional Chamber, the new website will make getting around downtown Flint easier than ever before. "Downtown Flint provides a wealth of things to do and this site makes it easier to locate the places you need to go," said Herman. "Whether you are a visitor to the region or live in the area, Explore Flint will provide quick, easy to follow guidance to help you get to places across downtown. This unique site is great for the region."

Explore Flint is funded by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation and is the result of a collaborative effort that began early last year. Developed by the C.S. Mott Foundation, Uptown Reinvestment Corporation, the Regional Chamber CVB and the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce, the site is designed to enhance getting around downtown Flint for all those looking to enjoy the city.

The website is mobile friendly and can be accessed from a smartphone. Explore Flint  currently covers downtown Flint, but there are plans to expand the site to include locations throughout the region.
