Emergency Manager Establishes Monthly Meetings with City Council

Flint Emergency Manager Michael Brown signed Executive Order No.12 late Wednesday, establishing monthly meetings with Flint City Council. The meetings will be held in City Council Chambers from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the second Monday of every month beginning February 13, 2012.

During the meetings, Brown will provide a status report and answer council members' questions. The meetings will be open to the public and will provide an opportunity for public comment.

Scott Kincaid, Flint City Council President, is the chairperson for the meetings. The agenda for the meetings is as follows, except when modified by Brown:

1. Call to order by Council President 2. Roll Call by City Clerk 3. Pledge of Allegiance 4. Presentation of Minutes 5. Report by Emergency Manager and/or his designee 6. Council Questions and Answers 7. Closing Comments by Emergency Manager 8. Public Comment 9. Adjournment

The City Council Chambers is located on the third floor of City Hall at 1101 South Saginaw Street.
