Had my first weigh-in since the initial one for the "3 Ton Challenge," at Hurley Health and Fitness Center.  My donut diet seems to be paying off; down almost 4 pounds, to 237.8.

(If you look closely at the picture, you'll see that I wiped off the frosting.  Plus, it was a half a donut--what!?)

They say you shouldn't deprive yourself.  So I don't; turns out, I'm good at that.  Seriously, the key is moderation.  And, I have been eating better.  Plus, I've worked out 5 nights a week since I started.  Half hour on the eliptical machine, burning about 500 calories.  Even better than the weight loss, my blood pressure was down.   My goal is to lose 12 pounds over the twelve weeks of the challenge.  Off to a good start!
