Detroit Target Employee Charged With Embezzling Thousands

An employee at a Metro Detroit area Target store has been arrested for allegedly embezzling thousands of dollars worth of merchandise in an elaborate online ordering scheme.

According to WXYZ, Shanon Rene Kidd who worked at the Bloomfield Township Target store has been charged with three counts of felony embezzlement.

Detectives in Bloomfield Township were contacted by Target's corporate security team after they suspected fraud. Kidd, a resident of Waterford Township, was arrested and arraigned in 48th District Court. Her bail has been set at $100,000.
