Flint Police believe that the more than a dozen dogs that were found dead, inside of garbage bags on a city block are likely linked to a dog fighting ring. According to NBC 25, police Chief James Tolbert says he's confident the dogs were used for fighting because the injuries they had. The 17 dead dogs were found in the 1200 block of Rankin Street on Monday by a blight elimination team. Police are now investigating who is behind the fighting. Tolbert says they have some tips but need the public's help in solving this crime. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
