Crime Stoppers is seeking tips related to the murder of a father of six in Flint. On the evening of October 21st, 2014, Thomas Baker Jr. was shot in the doorway of his Flint home. Witnesses saw the alleged shooter running from the home in 2700 block of Seneca Street around 9 p.m.

The 43-year-old Baker was a graduate of Flint Central High School. Family members say he was an all-around good guy who overcame a troubled childhood to complete a novel and work on two others. Baker was also described as kind-hearted and a good father to his children. His murder has been particularly hard for his family due to his Baker's dislike of violence.

Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information on Baker's murder that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. All calls and cash rewards are completely anonymous.
