Crews are at the scene of a vacant house that exploded in Flint. According to WNEM, the house, located at 1028 Markham Street, exploded just after midnight. Other homes in the area sustained damage from the blast. Many had broken windows and debris was scattered throughout the area. Neighbors said they saw someone going into the house on Monday and leaving with piping, possibly to sell for scrap and leading to a gas leak which is believed to have caused the explosion.
