City of Flint Reminds Residents to “BAG IT!” for Leaf Collection this Year

The City of Flint, in collaboration with Republic Services, will off "BAG IT!" leaf collection service on a continuous weekly basis until the end of November.

Residents can no longer rake their leaves to the curb for pickup. Instead they are asked to place raked leaves in bio-degradable Kraft paper bags, or loose leaves in 35 gallon cans clearly marked as "leaf/yard waste." No plastic bags will be accepted and residents should place bagged or contained leaves at their curbside by 7 a.m. on their weekly scheduled trash collection day.
