National Night Out will bring a message of anti-violence to Flint next month.

The event, which promotes safer neighborhoods and more community awareness, will take place on the back lawn of Flint City Hall.

Families are encouraged to attend the event which will include free food, a bounce house, bicycle giveaway and other activities. Attendees are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

According to MLive, the 30th annual National Night Out will take place on Monday, August 5th from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.
