The man accused of attempting to blow up an airliner over Detroit on Christmas Day 2009 has just plead guilty to all eight charges he faced. Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab surprised the courtroom with his plea. He was only in the second day of his terror trial. According to the Detroit News, U.S. District Judge Nancy Edmunds asked him if he wished to waive his right to a trial and plead guilty. "That's right," he said.
