Right as the concert season was about to get in full swing at the Chesaning Showboat Music Festival has officially pulled the plug on their entire 2013 schedule.

Right at the beginning of its biggest week -- one that would have brought names like Charlie Daniels, Bret Michaels, Quiet Riot and Theory of a Deadman -- the Chesaning Showboat Music Festival announced some bad news via Facebook:

According to MLive, other events like tonight's (7/15) kids night and the July 20th Bike Run will still take place. Perhaps it is due to an overflow of traffic on the server, but their website is currently inactive as well. Puddle of Mudd was also planned to be a part of the festivities, but were forced to back out due to frontman Wes Scantlin's legal issues.

Frankie Banali, drummer of Quiet Riot, posted the following in regards to their gig being canceled:

"Just a note to let everyone know that Quiet Riot did not cancel but it appears that the entire event is off. Quiet Riot were ready to leave tomorrow morning and I had just checked the band members in online and printed our boarding passes to leave on our flights tomorrow. This is out of our control but we were indeed ready to Bang Your Head... Sad to say that this event has been canceled."

We will update the story with any more information regarding refunds and such that is made available on the matter.
