Weekend Box Office Report: Liam Neeson and ‘Non-Stop’ Battle Jesus and ‘Son of God’

This weekend saw a brutal showdown between Liam Neeson, the current god of action cinema, and Jesus Christ, the current god of millions of human beings. Since the box office is a "two may enter, but only one may leave" type showdown, the victory ultimately went to Mr. Neeson and 'Non-Stop,' which edged out the son of God and his movie, uh, 'Son of God' to win the weekend.

New Movies: ‘Non-Stop,’ ‘Son of God’

‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ Review

Wes Anderson has finally done it. He's gone and created his own country.

Zubrowka, the fictional town at the heart of 'The Grand Budapest Hotel,' is positioned on the farthest Eastern edge of Europe's great empire. It is an incredible place to visit.

Why Don’t You Just Tell Me the Name of the Movie? Aol Officially Hanging Up Moviefone

Moviefone was made famous in the early '90s as a way for people to get movie showtimes over the phone, and was later cemented as a pop culture landmark as the focus of a classic 'Seinfeld' episode (wherein Kramer's phone number is one digit away from the Moviefone number, so he begins to adopt the role of Mr. Moviefone with hilarious results), but as of today, Moviefone is no more. Aol announced that it is shutting down the 777-FILM number and the Moviefone service, prompting many people to wonder aloud, Moviefone was still around?

For the third weekend in a row, 'The LEGO Movie' effortlessly held onto the number one spot at the box office, cutting down all of the newbies that showed up to dethrone it. Don't cry to hard for '3 Days to Kill,' but feel free to wince a'plenty for 'Pompeii.'
