Peppermint is no longer the dominant force in the world of Candy Canes. You can find flavors from Pickle to Bacon and everything in between.

I'm not a Christmas traditionalist, but it's a little disturbing to me when I see Candy Canes that are not candy or mint-flavored. I'm all for Starburst or Skittle flavored candy canes, but when you start putting actual food flavors, I usually tap out.

I thought I was in the majority on this, but after a quick search on Amazon, I think the world of Candy Canes might be bigger than I ever knew.

Take a look at some of the "flavors" I found below. Read them twice, then let me know if you'd ever try one of these. For those of you who actually have tried one, you have to tell me how it was.

Pickle Flavored Candy Canes

Imagine a warm fire, roasting chestnuts, and sucking on a pickle flavored candy cane. Actually, stop imagining that.

Pizza Flavored Candy Canes

Christmas is a busy time, and sometimes dinner get's overlooked. Luckily, you can just walk over to the tree and grab a few Pizza Candy Canes for the family.

Rotisserie Chicken Candy Canes

I've often stood in the grocery store deli staring at the rotisserie chickens rotating around the heater. Never, ever have I thought that they'd be good as a candy cane... until now.

Mac & Cheese Candy Canes

This challenges the "If you like this . . ." theory. Basically the theory says, if you like one thing and you like a second thing, then you should like them together. I don't know if I have ever thought about Mac & Cheese candy, and now it's all I can think about.

Coal Candy Cane

How does anyone even know what Coal tastes like?! I guess you just hope that you're on the good list this year so you don't end up with one of these in your stocking.

Bacon Candy Cane

You knew this one was coming. Bacon finds a way to work its way into everything.

Butter Rum Candy Cane

I can't just give you the crazy gross sounding candy canes. The Butter Rum Candy Canes have to be delicious. I've never had one, but how could you mess that up.

The flavored candy cane worm hole is a deep one. Every time I thought I reached the end of the internet, something new would jump out at me. I even saw a jerky flavored candy cane, which I later realized was just jerky bent into a candy cane shape.

I guess when it comes down to it, just let your freaky candy cane flag fly all holiday season.
