The Atlanta Braves acquired outfielder Justin Upton and Chris Johnson from the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for Martin Prado and four other players. The Braves’ outfield of Upton, his brother B.J. and Jason Heyward looks like one of the league’s best. [Atlanta Journal-Constitution]

The Australian Open’s women’s final is set: top-seeded Victoria Azarenka will face sixth-seeded Li Na. Azarenka was criticized for a questionable medical break in the second set of her match against Sloane Stephens, with some calling her tactics dirty. [Yahoo]

Manti Te’o's interview with Katie Couric aired Thursday morning, with the Heisman runner-up insisting that he had nothing to do with the hoax, that his feelings for the woman he thought was his girlfriend were genuine, and that he isn’t gay. [NBC]

The New York Jets are apparently interested in trading Darrelle Revis, one of the best defensive backs in the NFL. The news surprised just about everyone, especially Revis. [ESPN]
