Burton Resident Charged in Beating Death of Durand Teen

A 23-year-old Burton resident has been charged in the beating death of 17-year-old Durand resident Benjamin Tatro.

According to WNEM, Ricky Zinn II is charged with open murder charges. Tatro was severely beaten during an attack off Carman Street last month. He had been taken to a hospital and placed on life support before he died.

A second suspect was arrested over the weekend and is expected to be arraigned sometime this week.
