Sue Talbert Photography, Flickr

The City of Burton Police Department is investigating several reports of vehicles being shot at by a BB gun or rocks being thrown at them in the area of I-69 and Belsay Road on Thursday night.

There were no injuries involved in any of the incidents and the victims all continued onto their destinations before filing complaints with their local police departments.

The Burton Police Department did locate some BB’s left in the area and say there is nothing to indicate these incidents are related to the rash of shootings that have occurred on I-96 in Oakland, Livingston, Shiawassee and Ingham counties.
