Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint Names New Executive Director

The Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Grater Flint has announced Bob Nelson as their new Executive Director. Nelson has six years Boys & Girls club experience which includes his current position as Director of Programs and Operations.

In a news release, Nelson said " it has been a pleasure to work for Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint. Growing up in a single parent, working class household has given me a unique perspective on the various needs and issues facing many of the youth in Flint and Genesee County."

The Board of Directors thanked Lottie Ferguson who had served as Interim Executive Director during the search for new director. She will resume her role as Board President.

Nelson is expected to begin his new role immediately.
